The area to the north of Nottinghamshire is a sub-region with a strong focus on involving service users, there are key actions on developing a meaningful network of opportunities for people to become involved in setting the direction of service development.
Mansfield is involved in the Enhanced Housing Options Pilot.
A series of events offering advice and help to anyone currently unemployed or facing redundancy have been organised in Newark and Sherwood.
The
free events are open to anyone of any age looking for advice on employment,
education, housing, health, business start-up help and benefit advice. They
will be held in Ollerton, Blidworth, Newark, Clipstone and Bilsthorpe.
The
sessions have been organised by Newark and Sherwood District Council’s economic
development service with the support of West Nottinghamshire College.
