Welcome to the Regional Homelessness Forum
The East Midlands Regional Homelessness Forum is a multi-agency forum that has a number of key tasks:
- Implementing the Regional Homelessness Strategy
- Supporting sub-regional activity on homelessness
- Promoting partnership working across the region and sub-regions
- Informing practice across the region
- Making strategic links on homelessness to the Regional Housing Executive
- Promoting prevention of homelessness across the region
- Local Authority Homelessness Leads
- Local Authority Supporting People Leads
- Housing Providers
- 3rd sector Homelessness organisations
- National Housing Federation
- Tenants Services Authority
- CLG
- Government Office of the East Midlands
The Regional Homelessness Strategy was agreed in 2007 and in 2008 work was undertaken in the sub-regions to develop actions that local partnerships could undertake to promote the key outcomes of the strategy.
